一、南京大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院School of Life Sciences, Nanjing University

南京大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院起源于1914年成立的金陵大學(xué)農(nóng)科和秉志先生等于1921年創(chuàng)立的南京高等師范學(xué)校生物系，1992年成院，是我國大學(xué)第一個生物系，也是國內(nèi)歷史最悠久的生命科學(xué)研究與教學(xué)機構(gòu)之一。

The School of Life Sciences (SLiS) at NanjingUniversity traces its origins to the Departmentof Agriculture established at the University ofNanking in 1914 and the Biology Departmentfounded by Dr. Bing Zhi and others at NanjingAdvanced Teachers College in 1921. lt becamean independent school in 1992. As the first biologydepartment in a Chinese university, it remains oneof the country's oldest institutions for life scienceresearch and education.

在學(xué)科建設(shè)方面，學(xué)院覆蓋生物學(xué)、生態(tài)學(xué)、藥學(xué)3個一級學(xué)科，目前分子生物學(xué)和遺傳學(xué)、免疫學(xué)、農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)、神經(jīng)科學(xué)與行為學(xué)、生物學(xué)和生物化學(xué)、植物與動物科學(xué)、微生物學(xué)等學(xué)科全球排名前1%(ESI學(xué)科排名)，藥理學(xué)與毒理學(xué)、環(huán)境與生態(tài)學(xué)更是躋身全球排名1%。。生物學(xué)是國家一級重點學(xué)科，并入選國家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科。

With regard to the development of academicdisciplines, the School covers three first-leveldisciplines: Biology, Ecology, and PharmacyCurrently, several of its research fields-includingMolecular Biology and Genetics, lmmunologyAgricultural Sciences, Neuroscience and BehaviorScience, Biology and Biochemistry, Plant andAnimal Science, and Microbiology-rank amongthe top 1% globally according to ESl (EssentialScience indicators). Additionally, Pharmacologyand Toxicology as well as Environmental andEcological Sciences are ranked in the global top1%.Biology is recognized as a national first-tierkey discipline and has been selected for inclusionin China's Double First-Class initiative.

2）崗位職責(zé)Responsibilities

1、全面領(lǐng)導(dǎo)學(xué)院的行政管理工作，制定學(xué)院發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃，明確發(fā)展目標(biāo)與方向，推動教學(xué)科研與學(xué)科建設(shè)水平的全面提升，增強學(xué)院在國內(nèi)外的學(xué)術(shù)影響力與核心競爭力。

Take overall responsibility for the School'sadministrative management;formulate strategic development plans; define goals anddirections for growth; promote comprehensiveadvancement in teaching, research and disci-pline development; and enhance the School'sacademic influence and core competitivenessboth domestically and internationally.

2、全面負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)院教學(xué)、科研、學(xué)科建設(shè)等方面的工作，推進(jìn)一流學(xué)院、一流學(xué)科建設(shè)和國際化進(jìn)程。

Take full responsibility for the School's teach.ing,research and disciplinary developmentadvance the building of a world-class schoo!and world-class disciplines; and promote theSchool's internationalization.

3、制定并實施學(xué)院人才隊伍建設(shè)規(guī)劃，引進(jìn)和培養(yǎng)一批高水平的學(xué)科帶頭人、教學(xué)科研骨干和優(yōu)秀青年教師，打造一支結(jié)構(gòu)合理、素質(zhì)優(yōu)良的教師隊伍。

Formulate and implement plans for faculty de-velopment: recruit and cultivate high-level academic leaders, core teaching and researchstaff, and excellent young teachers; and builda well-structured, high-quality faculty team.
